"Disappointing"
The breakfast had a small variety but made it work. The location is good for someone who wants to stay in stone town.

The staff are well trained. Their hospitality is exceptional. We faced a problem with the booking website, however, the owner of the hotel upgraded us to their best room without us even complaining about it Everyone was just so welcoming, and made us feel at home The rooms are clean and big, AC working, big windows, yummy breakfast Highly recommend.

The Location Of The Hotel Was Really Amazing So Close To The Beach, So Close to The Night Market. The Rooms Are A Good Size, Great Big Clean Bathroom, Comfortable Bed. The Rooftop Breakfast Has A Wide Variety Of Options Which Was Nice.

The location was convenient for our excursions in the Stonetown. The view from the rooftop (Bar/Restaurant) was nice. The personnel really did a great job to satisfy us and really make our stay easier - Kudos to that :)

It was amazing, everything was very beautiful, inside they have beautiful arhitecture, ausom doors, the stuff was so nice and friendly, breakfast was very good. The rooms are lovely. It is situated in a very good place near to everything. I can't wait to go back again.

Breakfast was o.k, but why serving this terrible powder coffee? And not real coffee, made in a french press? Anyway, the roof top restaurant is really great! The staff was very helpful, and the location in stone town is o.

Al Johari is heritage-rich haven, full of lovely artifaxts, artworks and carvings. It feels old and has plenty of modern comforts. It position near the seafront at the quieter end of Stonetown is very valuable. And the rooftop restaurant was lovely; breakfast with a view!

This is by far the best value hotel in the best area of Stonetown. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. My second time to stay here and I will always come back. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing. 10/10.
